 Jake Rosholt has been released from the UFC following the former collegiate wrestling stand-out’s recent defeat at the hands of Kendall Grove during UFC 106. FiveOuncesofPain.com has recently learned of the news of Rosholt’s release from the promotion through a spokesperson from Team Takedown. A four-time All-American and Big 12 Conference champion out of Oklahoma State University, Rosholt finished his collegiate wrestling career with a more than impressive record of 105–20 competing at the highest level possible. Dec 01 2009 02:16:59 That's lame, Rosholt has a ton of potential. He just choked one of their bigger names in Chris Leben unconscious and lost to Dan Miller and Kendall Grove. I think the guys deserves one more fight.

Dec 01 2009 02:35:59 I hate to see fighters cut after only a few fights because then you dont even get to see their full potential sometimes. I am sure Rosholt has a good chance of signing with Strikeforce.
